Italy

I am entranced by the secret places in cities; those paths and places used daily by residents in the normal routine of their lives. I love to photograph these places to get the back-story, so to speak. Sometimes you get a wafting of their world. These photos are a tisane of The Veneto in Italy: Venice with its quiet calle and canals and a graceful piazza in Vicenza.
